History of A Study in Obsidian

'''A Study in Obsidian''' is a secret Black Armory triumph (added in Season 5, Season of the Forge) and one of the requirements for the '''Blacksmith''' title (Blacksmith). Its description is "Obsidian Accelerator obtained".

== How to complete ==

• Simply collecting Obsidian Accelerators from the Bergusia Forge does '''not''' unlock it. Community answers on Bungie's forums state you must complete the '''Mysterious Datapad''' quest (Mysterious Datapad) and turn the Obsidian Accelerator it gives you in to Ada-1.
• That quest involves Niobe Labs and some Forge runs using a full set of Forge armor, per a forum summary.

== Notes ==

• GameRant's Blacksmith guide says only that the accelerator "can drop from the Bergusia Forge"; the Bungie forum answers contradict this for the triumph, so trust the Datapad quest route. Sources are old (2019 era) and the details of the quest may have changed.
