History of Abeyant Leap

Abeyant Leap is an Exotic leg armor piece for Titans, introduced with the Lightfall expansion and built around the Strand subclass.

Overview

• Intrinsic perk: Puppeteer's Control. Placing a Barricade sends out lashes, waves of Strand energy that seek out enemies (it enhances Drengr's Lash, adding two extra projectiles with better tracking and range). Enemies hit are suspended, and suspending targets grants you Woven Mail, which reduces incoming damage and flinch.
• Slot: Leg armor, Titan only.
• Flavor text: "After each ascent, the fall."

Acquisition

• Lightfall campaign: complete the campaign on Legendary difficulty on a Titan. Per GGRecon you do not need to do it solo or in one sitting. Talk to Nimbus beforehand and pick Abeyant Leap as the free Exotic; Dot Esports and ProGameGuides describe this choice versus the Cadmus Ridge Lancecap.
• Lost Sectors: some guides list Master/Legend Lost Sectors as a drop source.
• Exotic engram focusing / Exotic Kiosk: Destinypedia lists both as current sources, and the game data lists "Exotic Armor Focusing".
