History of Abhorrent Imperative Strides

Overview

Abhorrent Imperative Strides are Legendary Leg Armor for the Hunter class, a piece of Armor in the Abhorrent Imperative Suit. The other pieces are the Abhorrent Imperative Mask, Abhorrent Imperative Grasps, Abhorrent Imperative Vest and Abhorrent Imperative Cloak. The flavor text is the garbled string "1G_SITOa_oAM_tOUi_UU_t>tenttgp_bDacAamwda/asNnTwf_>nE_oZUocOetEiLS0".

Acquisition

The game data lists Xûr as the source. Wiki sources describe an earlier route: the loot chest from the final boss of Escalation Protocol. The wiki accounts disagree on whether a Decrypted Cache Key was needed to open that chest, and the event was removed in Season of the Hunt.
