History of Abhorrent Imperative Vest

Overview

The Abhorrent Imperative Vest is a Legendary Chest Armor piece for the Hunter class, part of the Armor group in the Abhorrent Imperative Suit. The other pieces are the Abhorrent Imperative Mask, Abhorrent Imperative Grasps, Abhorrent Imperative Strides and Abhorrent Imperative Cloak. The flavor text is the garbled string "9LO/AN>TRnNl.dNPtEALm_l:p_[dihtyZHeaet/Oirio/sMk_._o_mN>A_3NdeEGSV0".

Acquisition

The game data lists Xûr as the source. Wiki sources describe an earlier route: the loot chest from the final boss of Escalation Protocol. The wiki accounts disagree on whether a Decrypted Cache Key was needed to open that chest, and the event was removed in Season of the Hunt.
