History of Adaptive Glaive

Overview

Adaptive Glaive is a Glaive frame that balances melee and ranged polearm attacks with a frontal shield. The shield generates energy when the wielder deals ranged damage. It is the balanced glaive archetype, sitting between the heavier Aggressive Glaive and the faster frames.

Stats trade off between rolls. Ballistic Tuning greatly increases range but reduces shield duration, while Auxiliary Reserves greatly increases shield duration at the cost of reload speed. Adaptive glaives roll with Refusal of the Call, Unexpected Resurgence and Lubrae's Ruin, and the frame is often picked for the shield's energy generation.
