History of Alethonym Catalyst

Alethonym Catalyst is the Exotic catalyst triumph for Alethonym, the Exotic Grenade Launcher from the Revenant Episode. Completing it fully upgrades the weapon's catalyst.

How to complete

1. Reach Rank 145 on the Episode: Revenant season pass to claim the catalyst. It was time-gated until Act Two launched on 19 November 2024.
2. Equip Alethonym and defeat 500 combatants with it.
3. Any activity counts, so casual play works. One guide recommends the Shuro Chi checkpoint in the Last Wish raid as the quickest place to grind kills, because enemies keep respawning there.

What the catalyst does

The catalyst adds the One For All perk. Hitting three separate enemies within three seconds increases damage by 35% for 10 seconds. Alethonym already generates ammo through its base mechanics, so the perk mainly raises damage against groups.

Notes

Reported numbers come from launch-era guides; the perk's values may have been tuned since.
