'''Apostate''' is a 5-point triumph for defeating Calus solo on Legendary difficulty in the Lightfall campaign finale, the mission Desperate Measures.

== Requirements ==

• Own Lightfall and reach the final mission.
• It must be the '''Legendary''' campaign version from the Classic/Legendary playlist. A Bungie forum reply confirms the weekly replayable "Legend" version does not count.
• Run it solo (no fireteam).

== Strategy ==

Game Rant's "cheese" guide for the fight:

• Loadout: Osteo Striga (poison, unaffected by difficulty) or Thorn as primary; Linear Fusion Rifle or Heavy Machine Gun for phase 2. Avoid Grenade Launchers and Rocket Launchers (self-damage), and skip your Super.
• Phase 1: crouch on the narrow pipe under the stairs near spawn, pull Calus' aggro, then move to the red triangle pillar and shoot him through gaps in the stairs. Slow but safe.
• Phase 2: when Calus uses axes and Tormentors, run left to the outer platform with Strand grapple and grapple onto the bubble from outside. At the top only Psions can hit you. Keep shooting until he falls. Do not fight the Tormentors.
