History of Arc Absorption Shield

The '''Arc Absorption Shield''' is an Arc shield carried by some enemies, including Taken Centurions and Colossuses. Destinypedia notes that Colossi have Arc shields during Nightfall strikes, and that some enemies gain these shields in higher-difficulty activities or through modifiers. Arc damage drains the shield faster, Arc grenades can break it, and deactivating it with an Arc weapon sets off an area explosion that damages nearby enemies. Other weapons can still break it given enough damage, but more slowly.
