History of Attrition Orbs

Attrition Orbs is a Weapon Perk that creates an Orb of Power after sustained weapon damage. Bungie introduced it with Season 23 and has adjusted its activation progress by weapon type: the June 2026 update lowered the threshold to four hits on Wave-Frame Grenade Launchers and three hits on Rocket Launchers. Earlier changes adjusted progress generally, reducing it on Area Denial Grenade Launchers while increasing it on Swords.
