History of Auryx

Overview

Auryx (born Aurash) was one of the three Hive gods who founded the Hive, alongside sisters Xivu Arath and Savathûn. Aurash was a princess of the Fundament royals who took the king morph and became male as Auryx, ruling as the god of navigation known as the First Navigator.

Becoming Oryx

The three siblings made a pact with the Worm Gods for immortality. Auryx killed Akka and used its power, stored in the Tablets of Ruin, to gain the ability to Take other races. He became Oryx and created the tithe system that ranked Hive society. Accounts differ on how the sibling conflict unfolded.
