History of Battling Battalions

Overview

Triumph in The Desert Perpetual raid (added in Edge of Fate): complete all four encounters with the Battalions feat active. It is one of the triumphs required for the Atemporal seal.

Reward

Greatly increases the initial chance for Whirling Ovation (an Exotic rocket launcher) to drop.

How to complete

1. Before starting, enable the Battalions feat in the raid's feat selection. Battalions adds Banes to the raid; other feats (Phase Race, Token Limit, Cutthroat Combat, Encounter Challenges) are separate and optional.
2. Defeat all four bosses with it active: Epoptes, Iatros, Agraios and Koregos.
3. Expect extra powerful combatants with Bane effects. Community reports mention Cyclopes and Rage Bane Minotaurs at Epoptes and Hypernova Banes on Agraios's Hydras; effects like Meteors, Mines and Slow were also seen. Feats may be randomised.
4. The raid is non-linear: you pick between Epoptes, Agraios and Iatros first, then Koregos is the mandatory final encounter. Keep the feat on through the whole run (one clear is enough; you can combine with other feats).
