History of Big Game Duo: Dreaming City

Big Game Duo: Dreaming City is a Season of the Hunt triumph: defeat Dul Arath with a Machine Gun and Xillox with a Linear Fusion Rifle during Wrathborn Hunts in the Dreaming City.

How to complete

1. Finish Trail of Vengeance and meet Crow on the Tangled Shore to receive the Cryptolith Lure.
2. Charge the lure by killing powerful enemies and getting precision kills in strikes; up to three charges stack.
3. Hive hunts start in the Dreaming City: slot a hunt mod in the lure and activate it at the Cryptolith in the Divalian Mists to summon the target.
4. Fill the lure's second (mutation) slot as well. A Bungie forum reply on the sister triumph "Stalk and Snare" says it needs a Tier 2 hunt, so the Big Game Duo likely needs the same; this is not confirmed for Big Game Duo itself.
5. Bring a Machine Gun for Dul Arath and a Linear Fusion Rifle for Xillox, the weapon types suggested by The Gamer's guide. Do the two bosses as separate hunts.
6. The boss is immune until you stand in the green pool dropped by a killed Revenant Knight (the Wrathful buff); then damage it with the required weapon type.

Seal and reward

Part of the Warden seal list for Season of the Hunt per Shacknews-style seasonal triumph lists (Warden title requires Season of the Hunt triumphs). It is worth 15 points. Season of the Hunt triumphs are legacy and no longer earnable in the current game (unconfirmed for current sunset state).

Notes

Community sources disagree slightly on which season triumphs belong to Warden; check in-game.
