History of Blood of Oryx

Overview

The Blood of Oryx is the personal Hive brood of Oryx, seen in grey and purple. It was the main force aboard Oryx's Dreadnaught, and its Court included Crota, the twin Deathsingers Ir Anûk and Ir Halak, Golgoroth and the Warpriest.

Guardians dismantled the Court one member at a time. Crota was killed at his throne world with his own sword, Ir Anûk and Ir Halak were eliminated at the Threshold, and Oryx was destroyed there, ending his reign. Later figures such as Alak-Hul, Malok, Nokris and Hashladûn were associated with the brood, but their attempts to revive Oryx's power failed.
