History of Bonus Focus

Bonus Focus is a Portal reward shown as a specific gear piece, not an engram, on an activity's card.

How it works

You get one guaranteed drop on your first daily completion; a high Grade gives a chance of further drops on later runs (Bungie forums). It changes daily. For Fireteam Ops you must pick the mission directly (not Quickplay) and customize to Grade B or higher. Completing three Fireteam Ops with Bonus Focus counts toward a Guardian Rank objective.
