History of Books of Sorrow

The Books of Sorrow are a collection of Grimoire verses about Hive history and philosophy, including the Hive’s relationship with the Worm Gods and the Deep. Ishtar Collective’s archive describes the verses as compiled by Oryx, with contributions from the Worm Gods, Oryx’s sisters, and other civilizations.

Thorn’s flavor text attributes its quotation to the “13th Understanding, 7th Book of Sorrow.”
