History of Borrowed Time

Borrowed Time is a Legendary Solar Submachine Gun earned through Gambit.

Overview

Borrowed Time is an energy-slot submachine gun with an aggressive frame (high damage, high recoil). The D2 Wiki lists about 750 RPM, a 26-round magazine, 52 handling and 82 recoil control. Its curated roll is Polygonal Rifling, Armor-Piercing Rounds, Heating Up and Tap the Trigger, and it carries the Field-Tested origin trait, which gradually raises range, stability, handling and reload speed as you fight. Flavor: "Give a little, but take a little more." -The Drifter.

Acquisition

Introduced in Season 14 (Season of the Splicer). Complete Gambit matches, earn rank-up packages from the Drifter, or decode Gambit engrams. The D2 Wiki says it is not sunset and has continued to drop with origin traits as a playlist weapon from Season 17 onward. No craftable or Adept version is mentioned.
