History of Broodweaver

Broodweaver is the Strand Warlock subclass introduced in Lightfall. It summons and commands Threadlings, small minions that track and detonate on enemies; Warlocks can perch them on their body until deployed.

Abilities

• Super: Needlestorm: a barrage of needles that embeds in the environment and becomes Threadlings; extras perch for later.
• Aspect: Weaver's Call: casting your Rift spawns three Threadlings and deploys perched ones.
• Aspect: Weavewalk: dodging while airborne gives invulnerability and damage resistance.
• Aspect: The Wanderer: Threadling final blows create Tangles that suspend enemies.
• Grenades: Grapple, Threadling and Shackle.

Other Strand mechanics it uses are Tangles, suspend and unravel.

Unlocking

Finish the Lightfall campaign, then speak to Nimbus for Strand Meditations.

Notable Broodweavers in lore include Osiris and Ikora Rey. The Threadrunner is the Hunter equivalent.
