History of Burdened by Riches

Overview

Burdened by Riches is a debuff in the Grasp of Avarice dungeon. Hive in the Loot Cave drop engrams, and picking one up applies a stack of the debuff.

Each stack has a 30-second timer, and picking up another refreshes the timer and adds a stack. If the timer reaches zero you die, so manage stacks carefully. Standing at the crystal in the cave freezes the timer and lets you deposit stacks, which is how the dungeon's doors and the boss's shield progress.

The number of stacks needed for each step is reported differently by different sources, so treat the thresholds as approximate.
