History of Captain's Coin

Captain's Coin is a Legendary Material from Season 18, the Season of Plunder. It was introduced with the Eliksni Quarter community event and has a maximum capacity of 9,999.

Acquisition

During the season, coins came from Ketchcrash and Expedition activities, chests, and Lost Sectors. Other listed sources include public events, Strikes, the Crucible, Gambit, Dares of Eternity, and King's Fall. The Oryx encounter of King's Fall gives the most coins (100), and destination chests give 3.

Use

Players donate coins to the Donations Chest in the Tower Courtyard to support the Eliksni Quarter. Once Community Goal IV: Recruits is unlocked, the chest sells Eliksni Quarter Gift Boxes for 1,000 coins each.
