History of Centrifuse Catalyst

Centrifuse Catalyst is the final step of the Centrifuse Exotic Auto Rifle catalyst: defeat 700 targets with the weapon.

How to complete

1. Get Centrifuse from the Season of the Deep season pass.
2. Finish the Higher Voltage quest from Banshee-44 at the Tower to receive the catalyst. Per Shacknews it has three steps: 40 Arc final blows plus 20 rapid defeats with Centrifuse, then 200 calibration data and 450 target defeats, then return to Banshee-44.
3. Equip Centrifuse and defeat 700 targets with it. Any targets count; the Auto Rifle's ammo-efficient fire makes mass-adds content (Vanguard Ops, Gambit, Lost Sectors) a practical place to grind. Shacknews suggests the Shuro Chi encounter in The Last Wish for fast solo farming.
4. Tip from Shacknews: hold off on the quest's calibration step until season pass ranks that boost progress (it states rank 11 doubles and rank 22 quadruples progress). That was true for Season of the Deep; check it still applies.

Reward

The catalyst masterworks Centrifuse and adds the Static Buildup perk: while amplified, the weapon gradually gains overcharge.
