History of Chapter 1 – Insti|gate|

Chapter 1 – Insti|gate| is a lore entry in the Trials and Tribulations lore book, added with Season of the Worthy (2020.03.10 per Ishtar Collective). An alien presence descends on Mercury, transforming the "garden world" into a machine of prediction. Massive appendages inject radiolarian fluid, forming pools and spires (see Radiolaria); the Vex civilization that emerges yearns for its creator.

Unlocking

Destinypedia states the book's entries unlock by winning matches in Trials of Osiris. I could not confirm this from a second source, and Ishtar Collective gives no unlock method. The 2020 Trials flow may also have been changed in later seasons.

Notes

Opening chapter of the book; Chapter 2 is Chapter 2 – Postexilic.
