History of Charge

Overview

Charge is a story mission on Kepler in Destiny 2: The Edge of Fate. Guardians restore power to an inactive reactor so the Aionian Campus has power; the reactor threatens a meltdown, and the House of Exile had locked down the path to the singularity. It is Step 7 of the quest "The Outer Steppes Strangelet", started after speaking to Dr. Carnahan. Available in Normal and Legendary difficulty.

Walkthrough

1. Navigate the facility and charge the pylons at the reactor using Matterspark.
2. Activate the reactor and proceed to the generator.
3. Charge more pylons at a second location, then activate that generator.
4. Defeat the Reactor Saboteur (Master Technician, a giant Shank) until its health is reduced by about a third.
5. Activate two more generators using Matterspark, Mattermorph and Relocator.
6. Defeat Overburdened Arc Keepers to collect Arc Charges and deposit them in devices revealed with Mattermorph.
7. Retrieve the Strangelet Capsule after the final reactor activation.

Rewards

Third Strangelet Capsule, completion of "The Outer Steppes Strangelet", and an unlocked landing zone in the Outer Steppes (per ProGameTalk). Exact step wording may differ from the live game.
