History of Chatterwhite

Chatterwhite is a Legendary armor shader first associated with the Vault of Glass in Destiny. Bungie returned it to Destiny 2 as a limited-time reward in January 2025, then listed it among the June 2026 returns. The 2026 unlock requirement is completing Fated Deepsight, the weekly Deepsight quest for Vault of Glass offered by Hawthorne at the Tower Bazaar.

The Destiny 2 acquisition details here are tied to Bungie’s dated event announcements, rather than assumed to be a permanent source.
