History of Chronicon

Overview

The Chronicon is a lore book added in Season of Opulence. Its entries unlock as players upgrade the Chalice of Opulence, and some also appear in the lore tabs of the Opulent Armor sets.

Authors

It is written by Calus's Royal Historians. Scribe Tlazat and Scribe Shagac were entrusted with its writing and keeping. After Tlazat's entries were judged disloyal, Shagac and Scribe Ixolt took over. Some entries are dictated by Calus himself, including the final one.

Reliability

The Chronicon records Calus's rule and exile from his own point of view. Its entries are Calus-loyalist propaganda, with events whitewashed or speculated in his favor, so its account of the Shadows should be read as biased.
