Overview
A Chronon is a Vex resource used in encounters of The Desert Perpetual. It drops from encounter enemies such as Time’s Burden Minotaurs and is deposited into rings or an hourglass to charge mechanics or extend encounter timers. The final encounter uses color-coded Chronons: red Cinnabar, white Antimony and blue Cobalt; the encounter readouts determine which color is needed.
Use in encounters
In Agraios, Cobalt Chronons charge five rings. In Iatros, Chronons fill the central hourglass and keep it from reaching the Neomutation wipe. Against Koregos, the team uses Temporal Oculus and the three Constant Temporality, Absolute Temporality and Cyclical Temporality roles to match the needed Chronon color and mine status, then deposits the correct drops into the hourglass.
