History of Cirrus Plaza

Overview

Cirrus Plaza is a Crucible map on Neomuna, listed under Neptune. It is set in a futuristic shopping mall with an arcade, an eatery and an aquarium holding fish and sea plants from Titan that were encountered after it returned. The layout is almost entirely symmetrical, a rarity for Destiny 2 maps, and the map is meant as a playground for Strand abilities.

It was designed for 3v3 modes and debuted in May 2024 with the free Destiny 2: Into the Light update. Its three companion maps were grouped into a new 3v3 playlist called New Territory, where playing them earned the Slaycation emblem at the end of that season.

Playlists and rotation

The manifest lists Cirrus Plaza under the Trials of Osiris activity type, and one listing places it in Trials map pools 2 and 3. The sources here date from 2024, so current playlist and rotation availability may differ from what is described.
