History of Cistern

Overview

The Cistern is a landing zone on Nessus with one of three fishing ponds in Destiny 2. Travel to the Cistern landing zone and head west; a large beam of light marks the pond. A Nessus-guide summary places it east of the Well of Flame. The pond does not appear if a public event is active there.

Fishing

It was part of Season 21's "Gone Fishin'" quest, which has you catch 5 fish in the European Dead Zone and then 5 more here. Fish such as At Least It's a Carp can be caught; faster interaction improves the catch's rarity.
