History of Clenched Fist

Clenched Fist is the Exotic intrinsic perk of Stronghold. Bungie’s current perk definition says it maximizes guard stats on equipped Heavy-ammo Swords, reduces damage while blocking, and grants Restoration after rapid damage following blocked shots, with duration based on the number of shots blocked. Stronghold’s rework was reverted in Update 9.1.5 (October 7, 2025); Update 9.7.0 (June 9, 2026) later limited infinite guard to Heavy-ammo Swords.
