History of Competitive Division

Overview

Ranked Crucible has seven divisions, each in three tiers: Copper, Bronze, Silver, Gold, Platinum, Adept, Ascendant. Each tier needs 500 points; a new division starts a 3-match promotion series (win 2). A season opens with 7 placement matches. Gold III and above decay unless protection points are kept. Higher divisions unlock focusing, emblems and titles; Ascendant gives 7 focuses weekly.
