History of Contested Zone: Metropolis

Overview

Contested Zone: Metropolis is an Explore-type activity on Titan in the New Pacific Arcology, a Golden Age city sinking into Titan's methane seas and infested by Hive and Fallen. Its in-game description: kill the invading Fallen and Hive, and collect what they drop before opposing factions do. It carries a 750 Power rating.

Location

The New Pacific Arcology was built on the icy seafloor of Kraken Mare in Titan's north polar region as a hub for scientific study of the moon. It was evacuated and abandoned during the Collapse, and its ruins have since begun sinking into the methane seas. Fallen scavengers from the House of Dusk followed the Guardians to Titan, set up a beachhead, and use the towers as junkyards.

The Arcology's landing zones are Siren's Watch and The Rig. Methane Flush is a Lost Sector in Siren's Watch, and Cargo Bay 3 and DS Quarters-2 are Lost Sectors on The Rig.

Mechanics

The objective is to clear the Fallen and Hive who have moved into the Arcology, then collect their drops before rival factions do.
