Overview

Controlled Burst is a Basic Trait from Season 21. Landing every shot in a burst grants the weapon increased damage and reduced charge time for a short duration.

How it plays

The bonus needs a clean burst, so a single missed shot in the burst means the effect does not trigger. It is a reward for accurate burst fire rather than a passive stat boost.

Weapons that roll it

Controlled Burst rolls on about 27 weapons. Notable examples include Loaded Question and Dream Breaker, both Fusion Rifles, along with Riptide and The Beacon.
