'''Corrupted Conflux Chests''' are the Corrupted variant of Conflux Chests. They spawn at the end of Corrupted Expunge missions, where Taken enemies replace some of the Vex that normally defend the Vex Network.

Overview

A Corrupted Conflux Chest only opens if you carry a Corrupted Key Code. Its loot pool matches a regular Conflux Chest: Lightkin armor, Override weapons and Umbral Engrams. Corrupted Conflux Chests are part of Season of the Splicer.

Keys

Corrupted Key Codes drop as small blue motes from enemies with a low chance, in PvE and PvP. Collecting them requires the Corrupted Access upgrade for the Splicer Gauntlet. Sources disagree on where keys drop most often: one guide says any PvE activity, while another lists high-density activities such as the Thrall Room in Shattered Throne and the Conflux encounter in Vault of Glass.

Rewards

Raising the Splicer Gauntlet's Vulnerability Exploit upgrades improves chest loot. Opening three Corrupted Conflux Chests in a week earns a high-power gear piece, according to a 2021 guide.
