Corrupted Key Code

Overview

Corrupted Key Codes are a consumable from Season of the Splicer that opens Corrupted Conflux Chests, the reward chests that spawn at the end of Corrupted Expunge missions in place of standard Conflux Chests. Keys are stored in the inventory and stack up to five.

Acquisition

Keys are random drops from defeated enemies in PvE activities, and some guides say PvP enemies can drop them too. The drop chance is described as low. Guides point to a few places with better odds: the Thrall Room in the Shattered Throne, the Shuro Chi encounter in Last Wish, the Conflux encounter in the Vault of Glass, the K1 Revelation Lost Sector on the Moon, and Gambit. Keys appear as small blue motes that are picked up by running over them.

Keys require the "Corrupted Access" Splicer Gauntlet upgrade, which is granted at the end of the Path of the Splicer VI quest.

Corrupted Conflux Chests share the Conflux Chest loot pool, with Lightkin armor, Override weapons and Umbral Engrams. With all three Vulnerability Exploit upgrades, the first three Corrupted Conflux Chests opened each week can give a high-stat armor piece or a weapon.
