Overview

Countermass is a Barrel perk that biases recoil vertically and greatly controls it, while also adding Stability and Handling speed. It fits Grenade Launchers and Rocket Launchers only.

Stats

• Recoil Direction: +30
• Stability: +10
• Handling: +10

The recoil bias is the main reason to take it. The stability and handling bonuses are small but apply on top.

Tips

Countermass suits launchers that already have strong damage but a poor vertical recoil pattern, since it keeps the weapon's shots on a predictable vertical line.
