History of Cradle

Cradles are massive bowl-shaped structures created by the Traveler on worlds it terraformed. Known examples include the Ionian Cradle on Io (listed as "The Cradle"), the Martian Cradle on Mars, and The Blooming. Cradles appear to exist on other worlds the Traveler terraformed in the Sol System.

Before the Black Fleet subdued it, the Traveler fired a beam of Light at one of the Fleet's Pyramids, deforming its surface into a Cradle-like structure with a large white tree at its center.

The Ionian Cradle is close to Echo Mesa on Io.
