History of Crimson Catalyst

Overview

Crimson Catalyst is a triumph in Destiny 2 that requires the player to defeat enemies by landing precision final blows with the weapon Crimson. The triumph consists of two primary objectives: inserting the catalyst item twice and achieving 500 precision kills.

How to complete

To complete this triumph, the player must first insert the Crimson Catalyst into the Crimson glaive. This action must be performed two times to satisfy the "Insert the Catalyst" objective.

Following the insertion, the player must accumulate 500 precision kills using Crimson. A precision kill is defined as a final blow delivered to an enemy's weak point. The weapon must be equipped and used to secure these final blows; simply dealing damage or securing kills with non-precision hits does not contribute to the count. The player must continue engaging enemies until the total number of precision final blows reaches the required threshold.
