History of Critical Anomaly

Overview

Critical Anomaly is a legendary Stasis Sniper Rifle with an Aggressive frame (72 RPM, 3-round magazine) on special ammo. PvE recommendations centre on Chill Clip or Reconstruction paired with Firing Line, Bait and Switch or Chaos Reshaped; Chill Clip freezes targets. Like every weapon in the raid it has the Collective Purpose origin trait: bonus range and handling when near allies (faster charge rate for swords), scaling with the number of nearby allies.

Acquisition

Drops from Salvation's Edge (launched June 7, 2024; requires The Final Shape). Kyber's Corner and The Game Post list it as craftable, so red-border drops can be used to extract a pattern. An Critical Anomaly (Adept) version drops from Master difficulty.
