History of Crucible Ops

Overview

Crucible Ops is the PvP tab of the Portal, the activity hub introduced with The Edge of Fate. The other tabs are Solo Ops, Fireteam Ops and Pinnacle Ops. Most Crucible modes are found here.

Rewards

Crucible Ops is the only Portal tab that is PvP. Its end-of-match drops depend on the player's Power Level and match performance. Base difficulty sets a reward rank from Copper to Platinum, and a harder difficulty raises that rank, which affects the Power level and gear tier of the drops.
