History of Cryptochron

The Cryptochron Order was a Warlock order that was reputed to have prophetic ability, which it used to justify dangerous decisions. It was formerly based in The Last City and affiliated with the Vanguard, but it was disbanded and its members banished after Osiris was exiled from the City. Its leadership, the Oneiromantic Circle, kept operating after the banishment. The Circle, whose members included the Senior Sybil, directed Rekkana, a former Cryptochron, and the Kentarch 3 fireteam into the Black Garden to recover the Vex relic Divinity. The Circle had foreseen the raid, but a protective veil inside the Black Garden made its predictions unreliable.
