History of Danger Zone

Danger Zone is a Weapon Perk that increases a weapon's blast radius while combatants surround the wielder; while active, the weapon deals significantly less self-damage. Bungie's Update 7.0.0.1 added the reduced-self-damage wording to the perk description. Bungie later added Danger Zone to The Prospector catalyst in Update 9.7.0, released June 9, 2026.
