History of Darkness Shard

Overview

The Darkness Shard is one of the dark objects at the center of Crux Convergence, a public event on Europa. Fallen drones swarm them above the capture points. Destinypedia calls these objects Cruxes of Darkness.

Heroic version

Each shard is watched by three Fallen drones. Killing all of the drones makes the event Heroic. The reinforcement that spawns is described differently by sources: TheGamer calls it an elite Fallen Brig, while Destinypedia calls it a Fallen Commodore. The reinforcement must be destroyed along with the standard Brigs to finish the event.

Triumph

The Fallen Brig Brigade triumph still uses the event's old name, Fallen Brigs, which dates from the launch of Beyond Light.
