History of Deathtongue Choristers

Overview

Deathtongue Choristers are Acolyte enemies that appear once in each Heist Battlegrounds mission, announced in the text log. A Chorister tries to reach a floating Hive totem; if it reaches the totem, it channels Xivu Arath's Battlesong, which disables all players' abilities until it is defeated. Killing it first is recommended.

Umbral Silence

The Umbral Silence upgrade at the Exo Frame grants Seraphic Umbral Energy when the activity is completed, for each Chorister killed before it sets off the alarm. The amount is higher on Legend difficulty. Sources describe the trigger as either the alarm or the totem activation, so the exact condition may vary.
