History of Declassification

Overview

A Kepler world quest from The Edge of Fate, given by Ikora Rey. It follows the Axion Bolt / microscopic singularity thread. Roughly 20 to 30 minutes. One source says to finish The Gorge Strangelet first and then all other Ikora side quests on Kepler; I have not verified this against a second source.

Walkthrough

1. Head to the Outer Steppes on Kepler (via the Outer Wastes) and enter the Reactor room; interact with the briefcase at the back. This releases a swarm of Axion Bolts. Destroy the microscopic singularities.
2. Follow the marker through the left door in the open area, slide under the blast doors and find another briefcase on a crate. Destroy three axion bolts.
3. Return to the open area, take the middle door, pass the Exile Pylon and find the briefcase on the right side of the cliff. Interact and destroy the bolts.
4. Take the right door after the Relocator cannon section. In the room usually full of Corsairs, find the panel of the Ares One lying by the rocks (a golden quilted panel).
5. Defend the Ares One against the encroaching Vex army until the shuttle is protected.

Rewards

One source lists Legendary gear and a Fated Cipher. The first two sources I opened did not list rewards.

Trivia

The bolts stem from a temporal anomaly tied to the Ares One shuttle, a piece of Earth history.
