History of Decoded

Overview

Decoded is a triumph in Destiny 2 that requires the completion of the quest "Vanguard Vestments." Completing this triumph awards 15 Score.

How to complete

To obtain the triumph, the player must complete the quest "Vanguard Vestments."

1. Speak to Commander Zavala at the Tower to pick up the Vanguard Vestments quest.
2. Complete its objectives: defeat combatants in Strikes using Fusion Rifles and Solar weapons, and complete three Nightfall Strikes.
3. Return to Commander Zavala to collect the Coordinated Offensive ornament for Null Composure.

Tips:

• Run the Fusion Rifle in the energy slot, with Null Composure recommended. A Solar option such as the Cartesian Coordinate or Merciless also works.
• Bring a Solar heavy weapon, such as the Lament sword or the Code Duello rocket launcher, to get kills in fewer Strikes.
• Nightfall difficulty does not matter for the quest, but Hero difficulty offers a chance at the new Nightfall weapons, such as the Hung Jury scout rifle.

Seal and rewards

Decoded is a General triumph. It is not one of the triumphs needed for the Splicer title. It awards 15 Score, and the quest gives the Coordinated Offensive ornament.
