History of Delayed Gratification

Overview

Delayed Gratification is the intrinsic on the Exotic Fighting Lion. Grenade projectiles bounce off surfaces. Hold fire to arm the grenade and release to detonate.

Releasing the trigger in midair detonates the grenade. A grenade that hits an enemy directly also explodes on impact.

The Fighting Lion was considered the weakest exotic in the series during Season 1, largely because its exotic perk had limited use. Its mechanics were revised in Curse of Osiris, and it received its slow reload speed in Season 15 alongside infinite reserve ammo for all Primary weapons.
