History of Demolitionist

Demolitionist is a legendary weapon trait with two effects: kills with the weapon generate Grenade energy, and activating your grenade ability reloads the weapon from reserves (3 second cooldown).

Values

• Most weapons: 10% grenade energy per kill (Destiny 2 Wiki lists Special weapons at 20%, other sources specify snipers, Shotguns, Glaives and Fusion Rifles).
• An enhanced version exists; one source gives 11% and 22%.

The reload half of the perk was broken until Hotfix 3.3.1.1 (October 2021) fixed it.
