History of Dendron

Overview

Dendron, Root Mind is a Vex Axis Mind and the main boss of the A Garden World Strike, first appearing in Curse of Osiris. It oversees the algorithm that generates the Infinite Forest, which sits inside Mercury. A shield protects it until the matrix linked to it is destroyed or the minotaurs that appear are attacked.

Story

In the Simulant Past, the Guardian destroyed Dendron while downloading the algorithm, but Panoptes took over the Forest. Later, simulated copies of Dendron tried to take control of the Forest and were destroyed before they could.
