History of Desperado

Overview

Desperado is a weapon trait: "Reloading after a precision final blow increases your rate of fire." Per community data cited by search coverage, finishing a reload within about 5.2 seconds of a precision kill cuts Firing Delay by 30% for 6 seconds (7 on the Enhanced version), and the buff ends on stowing.

Version differences

The Destiny 2 Wiki still lists the old wording, "Reloading while Outlaw is active increases your rate of fire", and says it appeared only on the Redrix pulse rifles, Redrix's Claymore and Redrix's Broadsword. Shattered Vault's current perk list has the precision-kill wording, so the perk was reworked and the wiki entry looks outdated.

Most associated with Redrix's Claymore, and considered a strong perk for Crucible play.
