History of Destiny Content Vault

The Destiny Content Vault (DCV) is Bungie's system for rotating content out of Destiny 2 to manage file size and make room for new content. It launched with Destiny 2: Beyond Light on November 10, 2020. At launch it removed the Red War, Curse of Osiris and Warmind campaigns and the destinations Mars, Mercury, Titan and Io, along with NPCs tied to them such as Sloane and Ana Bray. When a destination is vaulted, its PvE activities and rewards go with it. Vaulted content can later return.
