History of Detection Tech

Detection Tech is a material dropped by Vex on Europa. It is used in the Collectible Detector I quest, the first of a Europa quest chain from Variks the Loyal.

Acquisition

Defeat Vex on Europa to collect Detection Tech. The Collectible Detector I quest asks for 40 of them, which unlocks the short-range Europa Collectible Detector.

Use

The detector helps locate collectibles on Europa. Taking the parts to Variks at Charon's Crossing builds the short-range device, and later quests in the chain upgrade its range.
